You see!...
the consciousness of a single celled creature could never be too concerned with the issues of truth and reality, because a single celled creature has a very low level of consciousness.
It's called a "receptive type consciousness". The only issue this living creature understands about existence is what comes into it's basic biological senses about the real world (hot, cold, etc.)
If many singled celled living structures are in tune with each other, the cells organize themselves into a living body in equilibrium and symbiosis with it's environment. This is the natural state of receptive consciousness.
Some wild and domestic animals have various level of "perceptive consciousness" as well as a "receptive consciousness".
A pet dog will have the same basic biological senses as a single celled creature, however it will also have certain instinctive needs and character traits that demonstrate a certain capacity to perceive natural issues (grooming, body waste, nutrition, ect) as well to demonstrate basic emotions (fear/anger/protectionism, love/nurturing).
Can an animal distinguish if truth is not real?

The dog’s conscious understanding is that bell=food (bell/food) or (food/bell).
If it's not fed when the bell rings one last time, can it conceive that the truth about the "bell/food" is NOT real?
Why is it that we can?
Mankind has various stages of receptive, perceptive consciousness as well as a highly varied scale of "conceptive consciousness".It is our capacity to "conceive abstract" which makes us more conscious than all forms of animals (so far).
We are the only earthly consciousness which questions it's own existence as well as the existence of all forms of life.
Is there a higher consciousness than Mankind?
THIS is the only issue any of us individually and subjectively can ever decide for ourselves.

Reality and Global Awareness
Your reality can be subtely influenced toward success through "Global Consciousness", -which based on "perfect order" as developed from chaos through a "Strange Attractor". These are terms which describes a general overview or perspective of the entire planet as a living entity. It is often refered to as; Gaia.
